Ho ho ho! AI Christmas Campaign

As the tradition goes, at SnipClip we celebrate Christmas each year with our clients through annual campaigns. Be it physical or digital, the goal of the campaign is to engage with our clients and set a fun challenge for the team.
For 2022, we decided to jump on the AI train as it was gathering worldwide attention with the rise of Generative AI and its public availability.

Christmas is a time when people reach out to each other with good wishes usually taking the form of a Christmas card. For this campaign, we kept things simple and added a digital twist on top.

We decided to build an AI-powered interactive Web App, based on the DALL·E model by OpenAI, that allows our clients to create their own digital cards. This would allow them to see what Generative AI had to offer and have some fun while at it. The app consists in an interface that invites the user to a select one or many predefined words to use as prompts to generate their AI images. Each client would get 10 attempts to find their ideal image. Out of those attempts, they get to choose one image to use for their final Christmas card.

The AI campaign was a huge success with our clients. Over 450 images were generated in the short time that the campaign was online, and many clients reached out to express their delight and interest in future AI projects.
